I was raised in NY, lightsaber in one hand, dwarven ax in the other, and nose in a book. I write YA high fantasy about magic, yeti and a hungry tundra that sucks the color from the world.
I also write picture books about acceptance under the pen name Kelly Tills. My YA fantasy writing is an extension of that theme into the next phase of life: the teen years and finding one's place in a world that feels stacked against you.
